Mon to Wed we are open 11am to 11pm. Thu 11am to 1pm, Friday morning from 11am and we do not shut until Sunday 11pm.

Steam Complex is a members only club and members have to be 18 years of age or over to apply for entry.

Entry is charged at £8 (£10 Fri, Sat & Sun).
Documentary proof is required to validate Student/UB40
membership and may be asked for from time to time. No other discounts are applicable with a Students/UB40 membership.
Entry prices explained:
You must be a registered member to enter and use the club facilities. On your first visit you will be required to complete a membership application form and may be asked to produce ID if you look over 21.
The fee you pay for entering the complex depends on the day and time you choose to use the facilities. We have set out our current charges below.
Once you pay your entry fee you are welcome to stay and use the facilities until the close of business on the day you join us (Sunday to Thursday), and at
weekends where we are open 24 hours and your entry fee covers you for 24 hours
use of the facilities from your time of entry.
Free Pass Outs:
If you wish to leave the complex and return the same day (before midnight on day of your arrival) you can request a FREE Pass out permit which will allow you re entry to the complex.
Pass out Permits cannot be used to extend your arrival date to the next day – They can only be issued on the date you arrive, a 2nd fee is payable to extend your visit over 24 hours (weekends).

How old do I have to be to visit Steam Complex?
We allow adult males 18 years and over entry to the complex.
Is it members only?
We do require that every person who wishes to visit Steam is a registered member.
To become a member you will need to fill in our membership application form (this takes about a minute to fill in)
NO ID Required unless you look younger than 21!
I am discreet and do not want anyone to know I have visited Steam!
We operate a discreet and confidential policy at Steam Complex. We do not offer your details to anyone. Your membership details are only provided to ourselves each time you visit the complex.
So, it’s my first time and I am waiting at the door, what next?
There are two sets of double doors to enter the reception area at Steam. The reception area is a private room and looks pretty much like a booking in area in a hotel. When you enter the first set of double doors there is a button the wall to your right, press this and we will allow you to access the reception area.
You will be greeted by one of our staff team who will ask you if you have been to Steam Complex before. Tell them you are a new member and they will swiftly help you become a member. This takes about 3 minutes in total.
Once you have completed your membership application our Staff Team will book you into the complex, upon payment of your entry, and then pass you a towel and a locker key. Your key will have a rubber band attached, similar to what you would get if you visited the local swimming baths – you must keep this key with you at all times during your visit, most members will put this key around their ankle or wrist for safe keeping.You will then be guided to the doors that allow you to access the locker room.
I’m not sure how long I want to visit, how long can I stay?
You are allowed to stay in the complex for as little or as long as you wish until we close on your day of entry. On Fridays and Saturdays we are open 24 hours so you may stay for 24 hours, you may stay longer but there will be an extra charge payable to extend your visit.
What if I call in and need to go somewhere, say into town, then call back that day – do I have to pay to get in again?
No, we allow you to ask for a ‘Pass Out’ at reception – this is a FREE pass that will allow you back into the complex if you return within 4 hours of leaving.
Do I need to bring along anything special, clothing wise?
Apart from your payment to the complex, and extra if you wish to buy any food or drinks, just bring yourself! The idea of using steam is to change from your clothes and put your clothes into your locker and then pop on your towel. We have various sizes of towels to fit all.
If you would like to wear swimming trunks or shorts under your towel you may do so. In all public areas, i.e. the lounge area, bar area, corridors, you must wear your towel.
So, do I only get the one towel?
No, we appreciate towels get wet or damp so we provide free towel replacement on your visit, just ask one of the staff team at the bar area and they will give you a fresh towel. Take your old one back to the locker room, pop it into the laundry bin and pop on your new towel.
Towel replacement is free.
You mention food and drink, do you serve at certain times?
The only time you cannot buy food at the complex is between 5am and 9am on Saturday and Sunday, we finish serving alcohol at 3am Saturday and Sunday mornings and resume selling again from 9am.
Do you have showers?
Yes, we have a shower area where you can get freshened up. Body soap is provided free. We also have a cold shower too for a nice cool down after a sauna or steam room visit.
How much do you charge for condoms and lube?
We don’t charge, located in various areas of the complex there are free supplies of both for you to use, as many as you wish.
Do I need the body of a god to go to a Steam?
Definitely not – Steam Complex caters for all types of guys in an attitude free none judgmental environment.
I’m really really REALLY nervous!
The only barrier to enjoying a visit to Steam for a first time user is probably first time nerves. The thought of entering a sauna for the first time can be very daunting for some people, but once you are inside you will wonder what all the fuss was about.
Steam Complex has been designed to put you at ease as quick as possible once you join us and you will find this follows through with fellow members who enjoy the relaxing and social feeling of a Steam Complex visit.
A good thing to remember, once inside the Complex, we are all the same – in towels (apart from our Staff Team).
Ok, so when is it busy?
Just like going to your local pub, you cannot say for definite what time or day is going to be the busiest – week in week out each day and time will vary. Some members prefer it to be quiet, others busy busy busy. On various visits you will be able to gauge what day/time suits you.
We do hold monthly events on certain days and these attract likeminded groups to the events – check out our events page on our site for more details, and if one of them suits you then pop along.
What if I want to come but I don’t want to be part of the event?
Not a problem, one of the main plus points of Steam is that we are a large complex and members who do not want to take part in any of the events can simply use the rest of the facilities.
Can I bring a friend along?
Sure, as long as your friend(s) meets our joining criteria and completes the relevant membership application to join Steam Complex then you can bring along as many friends as you wish.
